This is a compilation of remixed versions of tracks from the "Criminal minded" LP. I guess B-Boy records wanted to squeeze out a few more dollars out of BDP, which had left the label and signed to Jive Records. Personally I don't like the remixes that much, but the treat on this LP is D-Nice first appearance on wax, on "D-Nice rocks the house" (a different versions was later released on Jive records) + the slightly different version of "Advance" which were not on the "Criminal minded" LP (It was only on a 12" from 1985).

Run-out groove has:
Side A: "BB-1-2000-A1" + "DCHARLES" signature.
Side B: "BB-1-2000-B1" + "DCHARLES" signature.
Side C: "BB-1-2000-A2" + "DCHARLES" signature.
Side D: "BB-1-2000-B2" + "DCHARLES" signature.

This is an early official reissue/2nd press. I don't know from what year, but I guess from the early 90's or something (if anyone knows for sure, please let me know). I bought it secondhanded in 1996 (from a UK mailorder who claimed it was an OG...). Tracklist on the back cover is in wrong order. See above for correct tracklist.

Run-out groove has:
Side A: "BB-1-2000-A1 BBLP-2001A" + "DCHARLES" signature.

Big Joe Krash was supposed to be a new comic character from Marvel. To promote the first issue of this comic, Marvel included a musictape within the comic. Big Joe Krash were rapping on this tape. There were also a comic music video for the "Break the chain" track floating around at the time, on various music channels, like MTV. Luckily Marvel pressed up a few vinyl copies as well! If you increase the speed of the record, you will hear it's pretty obvious it's KRS-ONE that is behind the mic. In my opinion "Break the chain" is one of his finer moments. I don't think they made any more issues of the Big Joe Krash comic?!?

The run-out groove has: "MARVEL MUSIC 001-A/B" on each side respectively. Side A also has a "ABSOLUTAUDIO LZ" signature.

Tracklists on b-side label and back cover are misprinted. Actual track list is the one above. The 1st pressing were pulled off from the shelves and later re-released with proper tracklist, but without the picture cover (at least that's what I've been told)."Hip 2 da game - remix" is by Buckwild! The "SRC" logo is etched on the run-out groove.

White label/promo-only pressing by Jive, with the unreleased b-side "Throwdown", featuring The Cold Crush Brothers on the chorus, giving it a nice old-school touch with the harmonies! I love this track! Apparently "Throwdown" was a hidden track on the CD version of the 1997 KRS-ONE album "I got next", but for some reason it never ended up on the vinyl version. Plays at 33 rpm.

Run-out groove has:
"KRS-001-A/B" + the "DCHARLES" signature, on both sides respectively.
