Very nice and relatively unknown UK-only Black Sheep 12" release! You get a loud and nice pressing of the "Try counting sheep" LP version and a super nice remix by The Caveman, totally different from the LP version. Essential 12" if you ask me. As a bonus you also get the "The choice is yours (revisited)" track. Plays at 45 rpm.

Run-out groove has:
Side A: "MERX 356 A -1J-1-1".
Side B: "MERX 356 B -1J-1-1".

Nice 12", definitely worth finding, with three remixes of "Stroblite honey". One which give the track a little harder edge, while there's one that has similar style as the LP version. There's also a wack house remix, which shall be ignored (I don't know what's up with black sheep and house remixes...). There's also a nice remix of "Gimme the finga".

Run-out groove has:

Last 12" from Black Sheeps 1st album. Nice to have a loud pressing of the"Similak child" track, there's also a remix (which is not as nice as the LP version if you ask me). There's also a non album track on the b-side: "Still in the ghetto", which is cool and has the same kind of vibe that came with the 2nd Black Sheep album.

Run-out groove has:

Dope 12", with a remix by Showbiz + two non-album tracks. Out of the two non-album tracks I prefer "Only if you're live". The "H.A.A." is a beatbox style track, where Black Sheep's disses MC Hammer amongst others.

Classic record from one of the legendary hip hop pioneers. Uses a sample from Kraftverk. The Tommy Boy address on the label indicates this was released in the early 80's. This is the first pressing with the orange label. Later pressings had blue (or green-ish blue) labels.

One of my all-time favourite Shoolly D records! Two classic tracks taken from his first album.

Apparently there were at least three different pressing generations of this record back in 1985. This is a one of the pressing from the second generation. Here is a break down of the different pressing generations:

1st generation
Has the following on the label: "Schoolly-D Records 1739 N.Witton St. Phila. Pa. 19131". I have only seen one pressing with this address (Don't think there are others).

2nd generation
Has the following on the label: "Dist. by Sound MAKERS". I've seen two different white labels ("promo copy" and "radio version") and there is at least one with yellow label (there are probably more).

3rd generation
Has the following on the label: "DISTRIBUTED BY WARLOCK RECORDS". There is at least one white label ("radio promo copy") and a few with yellow label.

Some of the above information is taken from a thread at the DWG forum.

Run-out groove has
Side A: "SD-112" and a "VIRTUE CS7" signature.
Side B: "SD-113-" and a "VIRTUE CS7" signature.
