The remix is just slightly remixed, but that is all that is needed to make this an MUST HAVE! For some reason this remix sounds so much better than the LP version. Maybe the drums are mixed louder or something. Promo-only release. The run-out groove has the "CSB" signature followed by two music notes. It also has the "F/W" signature.

The 2nd release from Marley Marl's Hot Chillin' label (www.hotchillin.com). This time we get the previously unavailable "Set it off - extended vocal", which is slightly different from the 1988 UK-only "extended mix" version. This version has a longer intro with the beat starting immediately and Big Daddy Kane is giving a lot of shout-outs to various peoples at the end of the song. You also get the instrumental, acapella and a live version from 1988 (all unavailable anywhere else). As an extra bonus there's also a radio session of Big Daddy Kane and Antoinette doing a really nice track, which to my knowledge has never been available on vinyl before. Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies. This is number 474.

Run-out groove has:

Promo-only remix version! If you ever seen the video of this track, then maybe you noticed the video version is slightly different from the LP version. There's some added horns, an extra verse at the beginning, longer outro and it's mixed in a slightly different way. This remix version is much better than the LP version IMO. Almost like Big Daddy Kane's "Ain't no half steppin - remix", but not as rare.

It's hard to pick a favorite, they are all good. A must have record, get it where you can! Pressed up in 4 different vinyl colors: red, blue, white and black.
