Two remixes from the 1st Organized Konfusion album. The chorous on the "Walk into the sun - remix" is pretty lame, they could have done much better. The "Fudge Pudge - remix" is cool, but why in the hell did they leave out OC?

Nice 12", definitely worth finding, with three remixes of "Stroblite honey". One which give the track a little harder edge, while there's one that has similar style as the LP version. There's also a wack house remix, which shall be ignored (I don't know what's up with black sheep and house remixes...). There's also a nice remix of "Gimme the finga".

First 12" from EBS, released October, 1992. EBS were confused about which song to release as their first single. It was either gonna be "Skillz" or "Funky-rye-men". Well, they ended up putting out both tracks. Out of the two, my favorite is the dope "Funky-rye-men" track! Unfortunately there's only clean versions of both tracks, which is very annoying, especially on "Skillz" (luckily that got fixed with their next release). According to DJ Tat Money, there was 500 copies pressed.

This is one of the most CLASSIC hip hop albums of the 90's, for sure! For some reason the record company decided not to release this on vinyl commercially. It was CD-only. However, there are promo-only vinyl copies available, in limited quantities. The sad thing about the vinyl copies are that some tracks are missing, compared with the CD version. These tracks are missing on the vinyl:
- "Last car on the 2 train" (interlude)
- "Red light, green light"
- "I went for mine"
- "Wuffman stressed out" (interlude)
- "Feel the vibe"
- "A view from the underground" (interlude)

NOTE1!
  • The original pressings have an authentic (removable) white sticker on the upper right hand side of the cover, while the reissues have a fake look-a-like sticker (actually it's part of the cover photo - not removable in other words).

  • The original pressings have an authentic (removable) 'parental advisory' warning sticker on the cover, while the reissues have a fake look-a-like warning sticker (actually it's part of the cover photo - not removable in other words)

  • There's "For Promotional Use Only - Not For Sale" written on both labels and back cover (lower right hand corner). The reissue does not have this.

  • NOTE2!
There seems to be covers with two different types of the 'parental advisory' warning sticker available. They are both original copies, as far as I know. The picture cover above, shows the sticker with the white frame. This copy also came with paper innersleeves.

This is the first pressing from 1992, on King Sun's own label, Money Bag Records (partially funded by Fat Joe). Due to some beef between King Sun and Fat Joe, there was a 2nd press released a short time after, on Big Boss Records (confirmed by Tony D, see comments at the www.vinylexchange.com board).

The "Sippin brandy" is an amazing track, definitely one of King Sun's finest moments. This is the original and slightly longer version with some extra comments by King Sun at the end. Where he is advising people not to drink and drive and telling how he and the fellas are getting drunk with the black berry brandy.... For some reason the track is going too fast, it needs to be pitched down to approximately -3. It has also been mixed completely different compared with the 2nd press (Big Boss Records). It has a much darker sound (more bass and less treble), almost like a demo tape.

The b-side is nice too, with production handled nicely by Tony D. Both instrumental tracks are exclusive to the Money Bag Records pressing.

    Run-out groove has:
"MBR-0001-A/B" + a kind of signature looking like "AM", on both sides respectively.
