Third and last 12" form Grand Puba's first solo album "Reel to reel". You get a nice remix (by T-Ray) of "Ya know how it goes", which improves on the album version if you ask me. You also get a non-album track "Mind your business" (only available on this 12" if I'm not mistaken), which is as good as anything from the album. To top it off, you get the album version of "Lickshot" too, with super nice productions by the Stimulated Dummies. Major labels just don't do 12"s like this anymore...

The 2nd release in the "ill kid sampler" series. To my knowledge none of these tracks ended up anywhere else, except for the Bahamadia track, which were released as 12" on Chrysalis a year later (1994). "Total wreck" is a really nice track, definitely one of the few good productions from GURU (of Gang Starr fame). Definitely worth picking up.

This is the 2nd press from 1993 on Big Boss Records. The speed on the "Sippin brandy" track has been corrected and it's mixed in a way where the sound is much clearer (compared with the 1st press). There's an additional mix, the "ho mix", which is almost identical to the vocal version, except for some annoying "hooeee heeeyyy" in the chorus (ala Naughty By Nature's "Hip hop hooray" style).
